This photo was taken at the waterfront in Somerset. I took this photo for the power lines and playgrounds project. It was taken in portrait mode which plays around with the aperture keeping the tire in focus but not the background. I took this photo from a low angle and I liked the texture on the tred of the tire.
This photo was taken next to Pierce beach in Somerset. I took it at around 7:00am while the sun was rising. It was taken at eye level with a large depth of field so that the entire landscape was in focus. This is my favorite photo from this year because it leads your eye throughout the whole image.
This photo was taken early on in the year for the Line and Shape project. My intended focal point fro this image was the One Way, i took it from a low angle looking up. I liked how the shrubs in the background added some texture to the image and also the natural lighting from the sky worked out well.
This was another photo taken for Texture and Pattern. I took this photo in portrait mode from a low angle so that the leaves were the main focal point of the image. I think this photo was a success because the four leaves really pop out. This photo is a bit underexposed but i liked how it looked so i kept it.
This was another photo taken for Power lines and Playgrounds. I took this photo on my phone on an elevated platform looking down at the monkey bars. I liked this photo because of all of the different lines overlapping each other. I cropped a good portion of this photo out to make the acute angle of the monkey bars more dramatic.
